Hallmarking is the accurate determination and official recording of the proportionate content of precious metal in precious metal (gold or silver) articles. Hallmarks are thus official marks used in many countries as a guarantee of purity or fineness of precious metal (gold or silver) articles

The Bureau of Indian Standards is basically the apex body of the country that enables the development of the technical standards which are also known as the Indian Standards that ensures product quality and management certifications and consumer affairs in all the matters concerning standardization, certification and quality.

Variety Hallmark is a BIS approved Assaying and Hallmarking centre. The results are derived as per IS1417 ,IS1418, IS15820 of Indian standards of gold Certification and IS 2112,2113 for silver certifications.

Engraving and Laser Soldering

Variety Hallmark is benefited with highly advanced and sophisticated German technology laser marking machines to provide quality laser marking and stampings which is clear and permanent.

Variety Hallmark carries on various jobs for all kinds of laser stamping which include diamond stamping, laser markings on all metals and designing based marking on metals.

Fire Assaying (Tounch)

Fire Assaying is the oldest and most reliable method of determining gold and silver in rock or concentrate samples. This method is still the industry standard. It is called ''fire'' assay because it involves smelting the sample which has been mixed with lead oxide. Until electric furnaces were available, samples were smelted literally in a fire.

It is a destructive process where the gold is melted with the process of cupellation removing all the impurities and the process of parting separates the silver from gold. The results are then derived by weighing the pure gold cornets. Fire Assaying is the most accurate process for testing gold. Variety hallmark is benefited by trained and strong manpower with professional and experienced metallurgist to analyze and derive accurate and precise results.
XRF (computer Testing)
X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) – one of the best analytical techniques to perform elemental analysis in all kind of samples, no matter if liquids, solids or loose powders have to be analyzed. XRF combines highest accuracy and precision with simple and fast sample preparation for the analysis of elements from Beryllium (Be) to Uranium (U) in the concentration range from 100% down to the ppm-level.
XRF (x-ray Fluorescence) is a non destructive process of analysis of precious metals. Variety Hallmark has  highly advanced and  sophisticated German based X-ray machines to derive accurate and precise results of precious metals with the help of  X-ray technology . These machines are also capable of testing Gold , silver, platinum and 108 metals and non metals. The emission of rays determines the purity of jewellery which is derived with the help of the computer.
